Please Be Advised

The Materials Sampling Guide has been updated effective November 10, 2022, and applies to projects let after that date. Project sampling requirements are tied to the active MSG at the time a project is let.

In this revision, we have updated the requirements for compliance with revised Buy America provisions. The impacted construction materials, including non-ferrous metals, plastic and polymer-based products, glass, lumber, and drywall, are so noted in chapters 15 though 25. Please refer to Section 27, Note 30, Buy America Certification, for specific language requirements.

The new Materials Sampling Guide has been posted on the M&R Sampling Guide webpage located Materials Sampling Guide - Nebraska Department of Transportation<https://dot.nebraska.gov/business-center/materials/sampling-guide/>

This email has been sent to all DE's, DCE's, PM's, Materials and Research Division, and some members of Construction Division. Please forward this information to anyone else who should be made aware of this update.
